The “Mechanism of Coexistence” among the people in the area has been propelled by the research team using festivals as a driving force. The "Stirring Young Rice of Chang Moi" is more than just a tradition practiced by the Chang Moi community; it serves as an event that unites people, fostering a sense of “togetherness and collaboration”. This initiative serves as a mechanism for collaboration among traditional residents, devotees of Chomphu Temple, and new entrepreneurs, enabling the community to drive a citizen-led festival where everyone takes on the role of host. This has resulted in the emergence of a new festival within a new community space, stretching from the old northern entrance of Chomphu Temple to the temple courtyard and extending to the eastern temple gate. This setup allows the city to narrate the historical stories of the community and its connections to the current commercial district. Thus, the “Stirring Young Rice of Chang Moi” festival represents a new collaborative effort that invites people of all ages to join together.
